Aloha! Starwood Hotels & Resorts' Big Give Hawaii online auction is now closed! Mahalo nui loa for partnering with Starwood Hotels & Resorts to help the Hawaii Food Bank in a "Big" way! The "Big Give Hawaii" online auction ran from November 20 through November 30, 2008, offering kamaaina families an opportunity to bid on extremely discounted rates for a 2-night special Neighbor Island or on-island getaway or spa...or share the Aloha with friends as the holidays are right around the corner. For those of you who placed bids, Starwood would like to send a big thank you! Your gift of giving will help feed hungry on Oahu, Big Island, Kauai and Maui as Starwood Hotels & Resorts will donate 20% of the auction proceeds to the Hawaii Food Bank and neighbor island Food Banks. Winning bidders must be able to present a Hawaii State ID or Hawaii driver's license to collect their prize for travel from December 8, 2008 through January 31, 2009. A Starwood Hawaii representative will follow-up with the winning bidders via telephone.
